October 19: Martin Bax, editor of Ambit, plus our AGM.
Martin Bax will be giving a talk on being the editor of a poetry magazine. It's a good opportunity to learn tips on how to get more of your work accepted and in print!


November 16: Reading from Susan Utting
And some readers from the floor


December 21: Christmas Party (members only, at a private venue)


January 18: Readings from Catherine Smith, Michael Maltby and Clare Best


February 15: Reading from Ros Barber
And some readers from the floor


March 15: Annual Competition Results with Paul Farley
and he will read his own work


April 19: Reading from Frances Wilson
And there will be an open mic slot to open the evening

May 17: Poet Sean O'Brien judges our annual Folio competition
and reads his own work


June 21: John Stammers will be reading from his latest collection, Stolen Love Behaviour
And there will be an open mic slot to open the evening

 

 

These take place at The Camden Centre except where stated.

 

 

Writers’ ‘Workshop’ meetings held on the first Tuesday of each month (except August) at various venues.

Readings start at 8pm. Visitors welcome.

Admission to non-members £3 (students £2)
