Nicki Jackowska

The adjudicator for the 2004 Kent & Sussex Poetry Society Folio will be Nicki Jackowska.

All members of the Society are invited to submit poems for the Folio from which a selection will be made by the adjudicator for publication.

1. The maximum number of lines of poetry that any member may submit is eighty.

2. No member may have more than two poems in the Folio.

3. Entries must be typed or printed (not hand written), in duplicate and on A4 size paper.

4. Poems must not bear the name of the author or any identifying mark. A separate slip bearing the author’s name and address and the titles of the poems should be included.

5. The entry fee is £10 for the total number of poems submitted.

6. Entries, together with the fee, should reach us no later than Monday 31st March. Please mail us for further details.

Nicki Jackowska will select the poems to be published in the Folio and she will also select from these the poem that she considers to be the best submitted. The writer of this poem will receive a book token for £20 and will hold the Dorothy Bryant silver bowl for one year. The adjudicator may also select one or more Highly Commended or Commended poems. In addition she will be asked to write a brief comment on each poem sent in whether selected for publication or not.

All members submitting to the Folio will be sent one free copy of the Folio on publication.
